Beatrice Langer

Beatrice Langer (Wexler) of Scotch Plains, formerly of Westfield, died June 5, 2012.

Mrs. Langer taught science in New York City and later taught in Winfield Park, Bayonne, and Linden. She also had worked as a dental X-ray technician and dental and radiology assistant, and had been a landlord.

She graduated from City College of New York with a BS in education and earned a MA in liberal arts from Montclair State University. She also obtained her certification as a dental assistant from Union County College as well as a certificate in electrolysis.

Predeceased by her husband, Herbert, she is survived by three sons, Ian, Kenneth, and Paul; her daughter, Carolyn Langer-Lilly; a brother, George Wexler; a sister, Toby Loglisci; and 11 grandchildren.

Services were held June 7 with arrangements by Ross’ Shalom Chapels, Springfield.
