How do I list an Obituary?

Obituaries must be received no later than four months after the funeral.

All notices must be typed and double-spaced, and the daytime telephone number of the sender must accompany the announcement.

How do I list a LifeCycle event?

Send us all wedding, engagement, anniversary, bar/bat mitzva and birth announcements within four months of the event.

Please include a daytime phone number.

All notices must be clearly legible.

There is a $10 charge for a photograph that appears with an announcement in each edition. (Please note that announcement placement is by area.)

Photos submitted with notices should be of professional quality. The names of the people shown should be printed on the photo’s reverse with a felt-tipped pen. If you want the photo returned, please enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope.

How do I list Synagogue, Organization, or Agency events and Personal Mention announcements?

Send all announcements in this category nine days before the publication date. There is no charge for photographs. If you want the photo returned, please enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope. A contact name and phone number (not for publication) should be included to verify or double check information.
