How quickly they forget

Great correction from the Jan.-Feb. issue of Jewish Currents:

We mistakenly identified Vladimir Ilyich Lenin as Vladimir Ilivitch Lenin in our “The View from Israel” column in November-December.

The formerly Communist journal is now published in alliance with the (formerly?) Socialist Workmen’s Circle.

Y0u might have written that Lenin was rolling in his grave, but since they never buried him that would b eimpossible!

I saw that your article on the Bronfman contest was cross-posted on The New Jew. You propose some very good and interesting ideas.

Have you had a chance to look at the three Bronfman contest proposal write-ups featured on The New Jew in recent weeks?

    Any thoughts about them?

Great idea in soliciting the ideas for posting. The ideas themselves seem versions of things that already exist (Pipe’s CampusWatch, for example) or exist in slightly different forms. Still, the notion of putting them out there for open-source scrutiny is a great idea. I may have to steal it!
