The modern nation of Israel is itself a testimony of G-d's faithfulness to his people Israel, and at least one prophecy in the Tanach foretold the capture of Jerusalem and the Temple Mount in 1967 ( see http://www.sixdaywar.co.uk/Daniel8.pdf ), giving proof that G-d is in still in control of history in this day and age, and is ever faithful to fulfill his promises.
