This week in the NFL
- San Diego Chargers’ defensive end Igor Olshansky didn’t put up any numbers during the 37-32 loss to the New Orleans Saints played at Wembley Stadium in London. Meanwhile special teams center David Binn made one long snap in the game.
- Houston Texans backup QB Sage Rosenfels did not participate in his team’s 35-6 trouncing of the Cincinnati Bengals at home.
- Jacksonville Jaguars punter Adam Podlesh averaged 49.7 yards on three punts, including a 59-yarder, in the team’s 23-17 home loss to the Cleveland Browns. Podlesh ranks ninth in the AFC with an average of 44.4 yards per punt.
- Brown’s offensive lineman Lennie Friedman is on injured reserved and is out for the season.
