Bob Tufts at Livingston, NJ synagogue

Bob Tufts, a pitcher with the San Francisco Giants and Kansas City Royals from 1981 to 1983, will be the featured speaker at the annual dinner of the Synagogue of Suburban Torah Center’s men’s club in Livingston on Tuesday, Nov. 18.

Tufts, a Princeton University graduate, celebrated the 25th anniversary of his conversion to Judaism in 2007.

An informal kosher Chinese buffet will be available at 7 p.m., and Tufts’ presentation begins at 8. Admission is $25, free to paid-up members of the men’s club and their children.
