- 1933 – Benny Friedman throws a 9-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter to give the Brooklyn (football) Dodgers a 7-0 victory over the Chicago Cardinals.
- 2000 – Miami Dolphins quarterback Jay Fiedler begins a streak of 92 consecutive passes without an interception, spanning five full games
- 2007 – QB Sage Rosenfels of the Houston Texans throws three TD passes, but his team loses to the Tennessee Titans, 28-22.
