This week in the (Jewish) NFL
- Houston Texans’ quarterback Sage Rosenfels replaced an injured Matt Schaub in the Nov. 9 41-12 home loss to the Baltimore Ravens. In his second start of the season, Rosenfels had career highs in attempts (38) and passing yards (294). His first seven completions went to seven different receivers and his 60-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Kevin Walter in the third quarter was his longest completion as a Texan and the 28th of his career. (He also threw four interceptions, but, hey, nobody’s perfect.)
- Jacksonville Jaguars’ Adam Podlesh kicked just two punts for 69 yards as his team handed the Detroit Lions their ninth defeat of the season, 38-14.
- The San Diego Chargers’ Igor Olshansky made one tackle and assisted on another in the 20-19 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. David Binn was the Chargers’ center.
