The third time proved to be the charm for Houston Texans’ quarterback Sage Rosenfels. Filling in oce more for the injured Matt Schaub, Rosenfels benefited from snappy play by the defense and led his team to a 16-6 victory over the Lennie Friedman-less Cleveland Browns. Rosie completed 24 of 32 passes for 275 yards with one touchdown (and two interceptions).
- Jacksonville Jaguars’ Adam Podlesh averaged 28 yards on three punts in his team’s 30-12 loss to Zygi Wilf’s Minnesota Vikings.
- The San Diego Chargers’ Igor Olshansky made two tackles in the team’s 23-20 last-second loss to the Indianapolis Colts. David Binn was the Chargers’ long-snapper for the game.
New kid on the block: Well, not new actually, but Adam Goldberg is an offensive lineman currently with the St. Louis Rams. He’s played in all 11 games this year, four as a starter. Prior to joining the Rams in 2006, the 28-year-old Goldberg played for two seasons with the Minnesota Vikings. Sorry for the oversight, Adam.
