With all due respect to the NBA All-Star Game, there’s always a lull between the Super Bowl and the beginning of spring training.
Is it any wonder, then, that Sports Illustrated picks this time to run their annual swimsuit edition? Love it or hate it, it has become a staple of the magazine.
The only reason I bring it up, as it pertains to the Korner, is that the cover model is Israeli-born Bar Refaeli. I might be stretching it a bit, but given the regular mission of SI, I’m making an executive decision and classifying her, however tangentially, as a “sports personality.”
