Lest we forget: William Davidson
The long-time owner of the Detroit Pistons died March 14 at the age of 86.
Davidson holds the distinction of being the first owner in sports history to win championships in three different professional leagues during one calendar year. In 2003-04, the Pistons won the NBA title, the Detroit Shock took the WNBA crown, and the Tampa Bay Lightning copped the Stanley Cup.
