Congrats to the Haifa Heat

The Maccabi Haifa Heat — owned by NJ’s own Jeffrey Rosen — defeated Bnei Hasharon, 87-68, on May 10 to close out the Israeli Premier League quarterfinal series 3-1.
The victory earned the Heat its first trip to the Final Four in the club’s history in its first year back in the Premier League after a 10-year absence.
Davon Jefferson, who starred at USC last season, scored a game-high 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds while center Brooks Sales, a former Villanova player, contributed 19 points in the victory.  The third-seeded Heat will face Hapoel Jerusalem (#2) at Nokia Arena in Tel Aviv on May 19 in a semi-final single elimination game; the winner advances to the Finals.
