ESPN’s weekly program The Sports Reporters offers an intellectual (relatively speaking; this is sports, after all) look at the news of week. The writers and columnists include the likes of Bob Ryan, Mike Lupica William Rhoden, Mitch Albom, and others. There’s none of the shouting and bombast of sports-talk radio or even another ESPN program, Around the Horn, on which another group of sports media-types try to out-shout their co-panelists to get their point across.
The most recent episode of The Sports Reporters — the show airs Sunday mornings at 10 — features one of the most cogent discussion of the PED situation you’re likely to find. You can get the podcast at iTunes.
