Why is it always the Jews that suffer?

According to the Associated Press:

Los Angeles Angels starter John Lackey was gone only two pitches into his season devut Saturday (May 16).

After Lackey’s first pitch sailed behind Ian Kisnler’s head and the next one hit him in the ribs, the home plate umpire Bob Davidson immediately ejected Lackey.

“It was interesting,” said Kinsler after the Rangers won, 5-3.

[Crew chief Tim] Tschida said the second pitch was too much for umpires to overlook after Friday night, when Kinsler homered twice.

“When the first pitch of the next game to that hitter is behind him, that’s a red flag,” Tschida said. “We gave him the benefit of the doubt because maybe he was a little amped up coming off the [disabled list]. when he hit him with the second pitch, it was something else.”
