The Lakers beat the Orlando Magic last night to take the NBA championship.
Farmar had a excellent series coming off the bench. appearing in all five games, leading the charge on offense, which belies his 3.4 PPG in just over 11 minutes per game.
Farmar is the first Jewish NBA player to appear in the post season since Ernie Grunfeld as a member of the Knicks in the 1983-84 season.
