Vote early and often
There’s still time to get your votes in for the 2009 All-Star Game, which will be played in St. Louis this time around.
Jewish players on the ballot include the “big three”, Kevin Youkilis (Red Sox, 1st base) and Ian Kinsler (Rangers, 2nd base) in the American League and Ryan Braun (Brewers, outfield) in the senior circuit.
Not everyone appears on the ballot; rookies, pitchers and bench players such as Brad Ausmus and Gabe Kapler, for example. But you can cast “write in” votes. As silly as it seems, you can vote up to 25 times.
According to MLB.com, as of this minute (11:18 a.m., Friday, June 19), “In one of the most tightly contested races, Red Sox first baseman Kevin Youkilis moved ahead of Mark Teixeira by a mere 1,315 votes in the latest results of AL All-Star balloting.
