Congratulations to Ryan Braun of the Milwaukee Brewers, who was voted to the starting line-up of the National League All-Star Team. Jason Marquis, (Rockies) was added to the squad as a pitcher, his first Midsummer Classic appearance (this will be Ryan’s second).
In addition, Kevin Youkilis (Red Sox) was added to the American League squad as a reserve. Ian Kinsler (Rangers), who finished second in AS voting to Dustin Pedroia (Red Sox), was not selected, but he still has a chance to be selected as the last man on the AL team.
The game will be held Tuesday, July 14, at Busch Stadium in St. Louis.
