Now warming up, Omri Casspi

Basketball season is just around the corner (No kidding; they already have Halloween candy displays at my local supermarket), so it doesn’t seem all that odd that a profile of the only Israeli player to be chosen in the first round of the draft should be featured in The New York Times.

Casspi, who was selected the 23rd all-around pick, signed with the Sacramento Kings on July 10. According to the Associated Press, he could make $3.26 million in his first three years.
