		<description>Ron, I had played with Don when I turned 51 in 1997, before we became the &quot;Amigos&quot;.  Sam ran the team even then, and Don was his second.  Softball at 50 is such a fun game - you can play forever - and you meet the best people.  Don was a step or two above that.  He always smiled, was always happy to play (in any kind of weather), and encouraged everyone.  And he could play.  I would want to have him beside me in any sport.  That&#039;s what he brought to the game.  He was truly everyone&#039;s friend, and I will remember him as one.
