Hey, stranger things have happened.

From the Merriveille, IN, Post-Tribune comes this story about Tony Cogan, a clutch pitcher with the indy league Gary Southshore Railcats.

“The veteran left-hander fashioned an eight-inning gem as the RailCats defeated Kansas City 5-2 in Game 5 of a first-round Northern League playoffs series. With Cristian Guerrero supplying most of the offense with three RBI, the RailCats will head to their fifth straight championship series to Fargo-Moorhead.”
