The Rangers’ righty picked up his 16th win of the year this afternoon, as Texas bookended the Indians with five runs in the first and five in the ninth for the 10-0 victory.
Feldman pitched seven innings of 5-hit, 2-walk ball, lowering his earned run average to 3.46. he’s tied for the AL lead in wins with the Yankees’ C.C.Sabathia and Tigers’ Justin Verlander and his ERA is ninth in the league. With with four starts left, he has a shot to win 20, but I doubt he’ll even be considered for post-season awards.
