On the downs: Scott Feldman (Rangers) was pummeled for seven earned runs in just 3.1 innings for his sixth loss in a 12-3 debacle against the As. He allowed seven hits and five walks, dropping his record to 17-6 and losing any chance for 20 wins, barring some remarkable circumstances. Ryan Braun (Brewers) was 0-5 with three strikeouts and a run scored as the Phillies beat Milwaukee, 9-4.
Pareve: One down, one to go. Ian Kinsler (Rangers) stole his 30th base in the Texas loss. Kinsler, who remains one home run shy of 30/30, was 1-5, scoring two of the team’s three runs. Sam Fuld (Cubs) was a late-inning defensive replacement in a 3-2 win over the Giants.
