Youkilis, Ausmus in postseason action
Kevin Youkilis (Red Sox) has appeared in 26 postseason games (three American League Divisional Series, two ALCS, and the 2007 World Series. In 26 total games, he had 99 at bats, 22 runs scored, 33 hits, right doubles, a triple and six home runs, 17 RBI and a .33 batting average. He didn’t fare too well in that WS against the Rockies: just 2-9 (both doubles) and a lone RBI for a .222 BA.
Brad Ausmus (Dodgers) appeared in a of 35 games, all as a member of the Houston Astros, including five NLDS, two NLCS, and one World Series (2005 against the White Sox). In those 35 games he had 106 at bats, score 12, had 26 hits (5 doubles, three homers) and drove in seven, for a .245 average. In his solo World Series, Ausmus appeared in four games, going 4-16 with a double and a run scored.
