And then there was one

The defeat of the Colorado Rockies at the hands of the Philadlephia Phillies means that Brad Ausmus is the lone JML left.

The Phillies scored three runs with two out in the top of the ninth for the 5-4 victory.

Jason Marquis did not pitch in the game. Of course, now there will be all sorts of second-guessing on how the Rockies  coudln’t find some way to use someone who was tied for second on the team with 15 wins. Marquis pitched just thefinal inning in the Game One 5-1 loss.

Of course, just because Ausmus is on the roster doesn’t mean he’ll actually get into a game. After all, he rode the becnh for the three games against the Cardinals in the NL Divisional Series.
