- Tackle Igor Olshanky made two tackles in the Cowboys’ 20-16 win over division rivals, the Philadlephia Eagles, last night. The victory moves Dallas to the top spot in the NFC East (can someone tell me how a team from Texas wound up in that division?). Guard Kyle Kosier also started the game.
- Long snapper David Binn and the San Diego Chargers shocked the New York Giants, 21-20 yesterday by scoring a touchdown with less than a minute to play. It was the Giants’ fourth loss in a row.
- Carolina Panthers’ tackle Geoff Schwartz played in the team’s 30-20 loss to the undefeated New Orleans Saints.
- Aaron Podlesh made four punts (33.8-yard average, including a 51-yarder) in the Jacksonville Jaguars’ 24-21 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
- Sage Rosenfels of the Minnesota Vikings didn’t play again,but neither did anyone else on the team; they had their bye week.
