Mets shake up coaches, uniforms
Sorry. I don’t understand how the Mets think that manhandling their coaching staff, let alone some pieces of cloth, will improve their performance in 2010.
Now that the “awards season is over,” here’s a look at how the JMLs did.
MVP
- St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols won his third NL as the unanimous choice. Ryan Braun finished in 11th place with 43 points.
- Joe Mauer, Minn. Twins catcher, won the AL award. Kevin Youkilis finished sixth with 150 points. Texas Rangers second baseman Ian Kinsler received one point, finsihing tied for last place.
Cy Young
- No JML finished in the top five for either league’s award for best pitcher.
