One less thing to worry about
Free agent pitcher John Grabow reached a deal earlier this week with the Chicago Cubs.
The left-handed middle innings specialist, who split the 2009 season between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Cubs, finished with 23 holds, good for ninth place in the National League.
The two-year deal is worth a reported $7.5 million. Grabow turned 31 on Nov. 4.
