SubscribeGratuitous Tony Kornheiser mention
It’s no secret to fans of the Korner that Tony Korn(er)heiser is one of my all time favorites. So imagine my joy at Yankee Fantasy Camp when I discovered this TK quote from his days as a writer with The New York Times writ large on a sign in the trainer’s room:
The obscured words are “In the history …”
You get to stare at the sign will sitting in the ice bath (think tub full of water and ice with an outboard motor), which is an one of those experiences which feels great when you stop. Fortunately I only had to endure it once, but some of my fellow campers spent so much time in these things it was like playing ball with Blue Man Group.
