I’m giving a shout-out to landsman Josh Borenstein, who recently published this piece about Jason Marquis on the Jews in Baseball blog.

I’m sure Marquis and Josh Whitesell (should he make the team) will be quite popular among the District’s large Jewish fan base.

In addition, The Great Rabbino site looks at the top seven Jewish sports stories of the aughts, beginning with this entry on the aforementioned Goldberg.
