You can go home again
Yesterday, the Washington Nationals signed Josh Whitesell, late of the Arizona Diamondbacks, to a minor league contract. He was a sixth round draft pick by the Montreal Expos — the Nats’ predecesors — in 2003.
Whitesell, a power-hitting first baseman (at least in the minors), batted just .194 in 46 games with the D’Backs last year.
