Ron Blomberg, the new Natural?

The New York Daily News ran this profile on Ron Blomberg, who is angling for another career to post on his resume.

Blomberg and his wife, Beth, still live in his hometown of Atlanta, but the pioneer DH hopes to co-host a bimonthly show in New York this season [emphasis added], which would allow him to work around his other engagements. As a motivational speaker, his story is the same one you’ll find in his book, “Designated Hebrew,” which was released in 2006 – a year before he managed in the Israeli Baseball League and won the championship.

Having had the pleasure of chatting with Blomberg on a few occasions, I can tell you that he’d be a natural with a show of his own. He knows how to engage people in conversation and put them at ease. Here’s wishing him luck.
