The Omaha JCC is looking for volunteers and host families for athletes as it prepares for the 2010 Maccabi games, which will be held Aug. 1-6. For information on how you can participate, click here.
Naturally, there’s a Facebook page.
Canadians, basking in the afterglow of their Olympics, are anxious to grow the next batch of athletes.
Of course, not every facet of the Jewish community thinks this is a good thing.
And please, no Jewish jewelry jokes.
