Congrats to Duke and Scheyer

I was going to lead off this piece with something clever, like “Jewks,” until I realized that Butler had Avery Jukes (who scord 10 points off the bench), and thought it would get too confusing.

In one of the most exciting NCCA finals ever, Duke held off Butler, 61-59, on Monday night; a desperation shot by Gordon Heyward in the final seconds fell agaonzingly short for Butler fans.

Suffice it to say that Jon Scheyer acquitted himself quite well, scoring 15 points, second only to Tournament MVP Kyle Singler. Scheyer also had four assists, including a key inbounds pass to Singler for a crucial bucket.

The Chicago Sun-Times ran this piece, speculating on what, if any, basketball opportunities remain for Scheyer. And this one comes from examiner.com (thanks, Ari).
