So there
I know it’s poor form, especially since we just did all that atoning, but does anyone else feel a sense of “serves him right” for Jason Marquis’ decision to pitch on Friday night?
Here’s his line against the Phillies: .1 IP, 6 hits, 6 earned runs, 1 walk. And the loss, of course. His ERA entering the game (after three consecutive good starts) was 6.60; after? 7.71. The Washington Post deemed it “the worst start in the crowded annals of horrific Washington Nationals pitching.”
