SubscribeMLB: The post-season edition
The American League features all the JMLs involved in the post-season.
- Ian Kinsler and the Texas Rangers face the Tampa Bay Rays. Gabe Kapler and Scott Feldman are not on the post-season roster for the Rays and Rangers, respectively; the former because of injury, the latter because of ineffectiveness.
Texas lost four out the their six games against the Rays. Kinsler appeared in three games, going 2-9 with two walks, and an HBP. He also scored three runs. Feldman made one relief appearance against Tampa Bay, pitching one inning, giving up a hit, a walk, and one unearned run.
Rookie sensation Danny Valencia and the Minnesota Twins take on the wild card Yankees.
Valencia didn’t appear in any games against the Yankees. The wins were 2-4 against New York this season.
Speaking of the Rays, you have to hear this woman who called in to a Tampa Bay sports radio show, opining about why the team was going to pitch Jamie Shields (opens as an audio in a new window).
Now that’s crazy talk.
