Peer ousted (legitimately) from Dubai

It took the #1 female player in the world to do it, but Shahar Peer’s trip to Dubai ended in a 6-2, 6-4 quarterfinal loss to Denmark’s Caroline Wozniacki at the ATP Dubai championship.

Nevertheless, it was a much more pleasant experience for Peer this time around.

  • Darn, it would have been sweet if she won that tournament, and would have made for a heck of a trophy ceremony too. Good showing though.
