Didn’t they cancel that soap opera?
First there was the ugly, long divorce proceedings between LA Dodger owners Frank and Jamie McCourt. In fact, the issue is so enthralling there’s even a blog devoted to it.
Well to add to their headaches, Major league Baseball recently took over the Dodgers because of fiscal, shall we say, mismanagement? Slate’s Hang Up and Listen podcast features the situation on its most recent program.
Can this be really happening to the franchise of Sandy Koufax, the Sherry brothers, and Cal Abrams? Tablet’s Marc Tracy posted this “open letter” to baseball commissioner Bud Selig in which he makes a simple suggestion that would please a lot of people.
