Jewps update, Feb. 9
Jordan Farmar scored a team second-best 22 points but the NJ Nets fell to Lawrence Frank‘s lowly Detroit Pistons, 99-92 at the Prudential Center. Although Farmar once again came off the bench, he logged more time on the floor than three of the starters. Farmar was 3-7 form three-point land and contributed three assists. The Nets haven’t won in a week and are now 8-19, while the Piston’s “improve” to 7-20.
Omri Casspi tied his season low — two points — in an 99-92 upset over the Los Angeles Clippers (15-8). The Cavs are now 10-14.
- Mark Cuban’s Dallas Mavericks beat the Denver Nuggets 105-95.
- Jerry Reinsdrof’s Chicago Bulls beat the New Orleans Hornets, 90-67.

3 in a row for Frank’s Pistons. A little life and some of the young guys are playing pretty well. If they add another real good player in the draft, Frank might see his way out of that abyss. Farmar continues to play very well too.
