Georgian Farmar

The shoe has finally dropped. Jordan Farmar, who played for the NJ Nets for the past two seasons, won’t have to worry about getting used to Brooklyn. He was traded to the Atlanta Hawks along with  Johan Petro, Anthony Morrow and Jordan Williams along with DeShawn Stevenson for All-Star guard Joe Johnson.

Farmar had some injury issues during his tenure with the Nets, but when he is healthy, he’s a smart player with an accurate shot from three-point land. Prior to joining the nets, Farmar had four good seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Comments

  • From what I just read, Farmar is expected to be bought out by Atlanta, making him an unrestricted free agent. He might even return right back to the Nets, but since he’s free to join any team he should probably pick a spot which would maximize his playing time.
