Youk can go home again (Update)
As expected, Kevin Youkilis got a warm reception upon his first return to Fenway Park since he was traded to the Chicago White Sox last month. It was such a nice moment, I though it deserved an entry all its own.
Youkilis went 3-4 with two doubles and scored Chicago’s only run in a 5-1 loss to the Boston nine. He singled in the first inning, and advanced to second on a ground ball by Adam Dunn. Since the infield was in an exaggerated shift, Youkilis was able to beat Will Middlebrooks, the player who replaced him, to third base and scored when first baseman Adrian Gonzalez made an ill-advised throw that got by Middlebrooks. Gonzalez later redeemed himself by hitting a game-winning homer for Boston.

Even his former teammates were applauding. And watch for an appropriate sign towards the middle of the clip. (Don’t worry about the video disclaimer; MLB.com usually offers the clips a couple of days after the event.)
