Ian Kinsler was 3-6 with a double and a ninth-inning, game-tying home run against the visiting Los Angeles Angels. The Rangers won 11-10 in 10 innings. Scott Feldman did not appear in the game for Texas.

Ryan Braun hit a two run single and his NL-leading 29th home run of the season to help the Milwaukee Brewers beat the visiting, Houston Astros, 13-4. Braun also scored three runs and walked.

Danny Valencia hit his second homer of the year for the Minn. Twins, but they still lost to the visiting Chicago White Sox, 3-2. Kevin Youkilis was 1-3.

Ike Davis had a double and walked twice as the NY Mets held on to defeat the host San Francisco Giants, 2-1.

Craig Breslow allowed one hit an struck out two in 1.1 innings in his first appearance since joining the Boston Red Sox, who lost to the visiting Detroit Tigers, 7-5.

Sam Fuld did not appear as the Tampa Bay Rays defeated the host Oakland As, 4-1. Jason Marquis did not appear for the San Diego Padres in their 6-4 loss to the host Cincinnati Reds. Michel Schwimer did not appear in the Philadelphia Phillies’ 3-2 win over the host Washington Nationals.
