As usual, Mondays are relatively light days on the schedule.
Sam Fuld had the best of a mediocre day for the MOTs: he was 1-4 with a run scored and two stolen bases as the Tampa Bay Rays beat the host Seattle Mariners, 4-1.
Ryan Braun was 1-5 with two strikeouts as the Milwaukee Brewers lost to the host Colorado Rockies, 9-6.
Ian Kinsler was 0-3 as the Texas Rangers fell to the host NY Yankees, 8-2. Scott Feldman did not appear in the game.
Kevin Youkilis was 0-4 with a walk and two strikeouts in the Chicago White Sox’s 11-inning loss to the host Toronto Blue Jays.
Jason Marquis did not appear in the San Diego Padres’ 4-1 win over the host Atlanta Braves. Michael Schwimer did not appear in the Philadelphia Phillies’ 4-0 win over the host Miami Marlins. Everyone else had the day off.
