SubscribeJML update update: Valencia farmed out
Bob “Day by Day in Jewish Sports History” Wexler reports that the Red Sox sent Danny Valencia to AAA Pawtucket yesterday, reducing the number of JMLs to an even minyan.
Valencia appeared in four games for the Red Sox, who acquired him in a trade with the Minnesota Twins on Aug. 5. He was 1-8 with an RBI and a walk. For the Twins, Valencia hit .198 with two home runs and 17 RBIs in 34 games. He also spent some time in the minors for Minnesota this year.
