JML update, Aug. 23
Ryan Braun was the reason the Milwaukee Brewers beat the visiting Chicago Cubs last night. Braun had a double, triple, and home run (#34), scored two runs and drove in two to help the Brew Crew to a 3-2 win.
Kevin Youkilis was 0-1 with a walk and his sacrifice fly in the third inning gave the host Chicago White Sox half of their runs in a 2-1 win over the NY Yankees.

Ian Kinsler had a single and his 35th double in five at bats as the Texas Rangers crushed the visiting Baltimore Orioles, 12-3. Scott Feldman did not appear in the game.
Ike Davis was 1-3 with an RBI and a walk, but the host NY Mets blew another one to the Colorado Rockies, 5-2. Hard to believe the Rockies are last in the NL West, the way they’ve been having their way with the Mets.
Ryan Lavarnway had a double in four at bats as the designated hitter. He also scored a run and drove in one as the Boston Red Sox lost to the visiting Los Angeles Angels, 7-3. Craig Breslow did not appear in the game.
Sam Fuld scored as a pinch-runner in the Tampa Bay Rays’ 5-3 win over the visiting Kansas City Royals.
Jason Marquis did not appear in the host San Diego Padres’ 4-2 win over the slumping Pittsburgh Pirates.
Michael Schwimer did not appear in the Philadelphia Phillies’ 3-2 loss to the visiting Cincinnati Reds.
