JFL update, week 3
Gabe Carimi made the game start at right tackle for the Chicago Bears (2-1, NFC North) in their 23-6 win over visiting the St. Louis Rams. Adam Podlesh punted four times for 165 yards (41.3 avg., longest 55, two inside the 20 yard line).
Erik Lorig appeared as a substitute for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-2, NFC South) in their 16-10 loss to the host Dallas Cowboys.
Brian De La Puente made the game start at center for the New Orleans Saints (0-3, NFC South) in their 17-14 overtime loss to the visiting Kansas City Chiefs. Wide Receiver Greg Camarillo appeared for the Saints as a substitute.
Taylor Mays was a substitute safety for the Cincinnati Bengals (2-1, AFC North) and assisted on one tackle in a 38-31 win over the host Washington Redskins.
Antonio Garay was on the inactive list as the San Diego Chargers (2-1, NFC West) were upset by the visiting Atlanta Falcons, 27-3.
Geoff Schwartz did not play in the Minn. Vikings’ (2-1, NFC North) 16-10 win over the visiting San Francisco 49ers. Brother Mitchell made the game start at tackle for the Cleveland Browns (0-3, AFC North) in their 24-14 loss to the visiting Buffalo Bills.
