A few items about JFLers:
- Chicago Bears offensive lineman Gabe Carimi continues to make progress after an injury-doomed 2011. While some football pundits carp on his lack of progress, he’s basically still a rookie. Nevertheless, he looks forward to the challenges and the spotlight. Teammate punter Adam Podlesh was excused from practice yesterday. The Bears (4-1) are coming off their bye week. They’ll take on the Detroit Lions (2-3) on Monday night in Chicago.
- Geoff Schwartz is thankful to get a new lease on life for a new team, the Minn. Vikings (4-2), who host the Arizona Cardinals (4-2) on Sunday.
