JPost profiles JML documentary
The Jerusalem Post ran this feature on Jews and Baseball: An American Love Story and the film’s director, Peter Miller. The documentary will be one of some 200 films screened at the Jerusalem Film Festival, which runs July 8-17. Thanks to my tennis buddy, Andy, for the heads-up.
Youk’s All-Star chances: Not dead yet
There’s still a possibility that Kevin Youkilis could be named to the A.L. All-Star squad. As of this writing, he’s leading the Yankees’ Steve Swisher in the race for the last slot. (you can vote for Youkilis via the link.) All of this is most gratifying for the Red Sox’ first baseman.
