Another one bites the dust
The Colorado Rockies optioned Jason Hirsh to Triple-A Colorado Springs on March 16. Hirsh, the tallest Jewish Major leaguer at 6’8″, has a record of 8-11 over three seasons. He missed almost all of 2008 with a foot injury.
