In these tough economic times, MASA, an organization established by the government of Israel and the Jewish Agency for Israel to encourage long-term stays in Israel, is reporting a three-fold increase in requests for information from North American students and recent college grads.
In response to the new demand, MASA began its Better Stimulus Plan about a month ago for post-college students who think Israel may offer better job and educational prospects than the U.S. — or at least the chance to build a resume until the current recession blows over.
