Strong as an ox in field; wisest owl in the tree; perseveres; Hamm’rin Hank
He was a mensch on and off the field cool as could be Hamm’rin Hank
He was a Jew and true in a time of hatred; working hard Hamm’rin Hank
Played for the Tigers of Detroit and won many games he played; Hamm’rin Hank
In a big game a great holiday occurred and Hank awesome Hank did not play
He went to temple and fasted all day and all night he is Hamm’rin Hank
People cheered him called his name and he was humble always cool Hamm’rin Hank
Loved by some, prejudiced as well he still was a true hero Hamm’rin Hank.
